Caregiver

Job Summary: The Caregiver provides compassionate and professional assistance to clients who are elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness. The role involves supporting daily living activities, promoting physical and emotional well-being, and ensuring the safety and comfort of clients under their care.

Key Responsibilities: a. Assist clients with daily personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding). b. Monitor and record clients’ physical and emotional conditions. c. Administer prescribed medications (if certified) or remind clients to take them. d. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating when necessary. e. Provide mobility support, including walking and transferring. f. Perform light housekeeping duties — cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces. g. Offer companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in social activities. h. Report any changes in the client’s health or behavior to supervisors or family members. i. Ensure a safe and clean environment at all times.
